Engine 3

Engine 3 – Power, Capacity, and Community Support

Built in 2017 by Metalfab Fire Trucks on a Freightliner 114SD tandem chassis, Engine 3 is a critical part of our fleet. With its large 3,000-gallon water tank and a 1,250 GPM Waterous pump, this truck is designed to provide reliable water supply and strong pumping capabilities on the fireground.

Engine 3 plays a vital role in supporting Engine 1, acting as a secondary pumper to help maintain water pressure and ensure a steady supply. It is equipped with extra oxygen bottles, spare hose, drafting equipment, and ladders, making it a versatile asset in various emergency situations. A key feature of this pumper is its center-mounted pump controls, allowing the operator to maintain full visibility and awareness of the scene while managing water flow.

This truck also holds special meaning for our department. The unique decal on its side is a tribute to the incredible community support we received during our Chase the Ace campaign, which helped make the purchase of Engine 3 possible.

With its high capacity, efficiency, and strong community ties, Engine 3 stands ready to serve whenever duty calls. 🚒🔥
