The North River Fire Department is a volunteer fire service dedicated to protecting lives and property in the Town of Cornwall, Prince Edward Island, and surrounding communities. Established in 1965 by six founding members, we have grown into a team of 30 highly trained volunteers who serve over 15,000 residents across more than 30 communities, including:
- West River, Clyde River, Kingston, Warren Grove, Hampshire
- North Wiltshire, Hartsville, Darlington, Miltonvale Park, Brackley, Winsloe North
- And the Town of Cornwall
Emergency Response & Specialized Services
With an average of 250 calls per year, we are committed to delivering the highest quality emergency services. Our fleet of 10 specialized apparatus allows us to respond effectively to a wide range of incidents, including:
